I've been really lagging on trying to take pics of my friend and her baby. So we finally shot this weekend. The pictures came out well.

This photo shoot was really crazy!! It started my my friend Junior who wanted a last minute photo shoot, I agreed to it and it turns out it was cold and windy and one of my light stands broke. Overall, the images turned out great!

I used the strobes with a slow shutter speed and added some gels. I thought the overall idea I was going for was there but I wish I had more of a variety of clothing for styling and maybe using lighter artlicles of clothing to make a bigger impact on the images.

This is supposed to be an advertisment shot for "Carolina Herrera" it is a mixture of surrealism and monochromaticism. I had help from my friend Dawn trying to get the flow of the fabric just right, she did an amazing job from what is was prior to the final shot! Overall, the shot shot came together nicely. =]

These are the shots that i shot using complimentary colors. I had the third ball floating in the air i'd thought i'd add a serealism touch to it. Also my professor Ann told me i should have added a little "umpf" just to bring the shot out a bit more, which i agree.

OMG!!! I think this is one of my favorite pictures I've ever took of my sister! She looks really agelic with the lighting. I used the 750 Speed light and shot with a Nikon. Oh also the Canon 5D Mark II is an AMAZING camera by the way!

Drunken Beauty:

Looking at someone with such beauty is merely the outer element of a person. The existing physical mania which beauty can possess is often a fictitious innuendo given off to other people. It is when people actually look at the morality or inner beauty of someone that makes them appear not as what they seem, rather a different person, changing the persons perspective on that individual.

First I would like to say this picture is in no way supposed to give the impression that my sister is a drunk, cos she's not! I would probably say its my fault for not showing this picture with its concept....with that said i also think people should appreciate peoples work and actually try to ask the photographer question.

this picture is supposed to portray how someone with such beauty be so ugly, drunk, and being passed out on the side of the curb.

That said, I recomment analyzing and giving critique to the artist himself

I love this photographer! Her name is Melodie McDaniels she is, in my opinion, a great photographer as far as trying to add a little something extra to her pictures. Lets see if I can get an intership with her!! =]
